What to Expect

Effective Healing for Lasting Results

New patients are warmly welcomed at our Kent chiropractic practice.

Over the years, Baldwin Chiropractic has built its reputation on thorough, effective treatments that not only relieve patients' pain, but get them on the path to lasting wellness and overall improved health. By using precise diagnostic tools like low-dose x-rays, Static EMG and Thermography--and a deep knowledge of the body's biomechanics-- the doctors locate the source of your pain accurately and provide a thorough diagnosis. After this crucial first step, we will do more than just get you out of pain--we will develop a treatment plan which will help you achieve lasting healing.

We use safe and modern equipment to fully understand your condition.

First Visit

Your first visit to our office will be the longest. It involves filling out paperwork, watching a video, consultation, examination, x-rays if necessary, discussion of your preliminary exam findings and possibly a first adjustment. First aid and instructions usually are given to patients with an acute condition. You can expect to spend up to an hour with us while we gather all the information necessary to fully understand your condition.

Second Visit

In addition to the spinal adjustment, your second visit will include a detailed report of examination findings. The doctors will explain to you if chiropractic care is appropriate for your condition, and will refer you to a specialist if needed.

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Progress Examinations

During your care, progress examinations are performed at regular intervals, and instructions for rehabilitative exercises are given if warranted. These evaluations are necessary to insure your progress toward pain-free health and long term wellness. We want you to be an informed patient, so please feel free to ask questions any time regarding your health, treatment plan or chiropractic care.

Healthcare Class

It is recommended that all patients attend this educational class held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome, but because of the time involved we do not recommend that you bring small children.
