We Are a Family Practice, We practice as a family!

Welcome to Baldwin Chiropractic, a true family practice. Since 1986 we have been serving the East Hill of Kent Washington. From humble beginnings Dr. Baldwin and his wife Susie opened the office with compassion and concern for our community’s health that continues today.

Since that time we have served thousands of people in our community and touched families near and wide with our talents. Since those early days we have grown to one of the largest clinics in the region with 4 chiropractors and supporting massage therapists. Over the years as technology has improved we have incorporated advanced technology that helps insure the best outcomes for our patients.

We are proud to include in our diverse family background starting with Dr. Kelly’s great aunt, our first known chiropractor in the family who graduated in 1913! She was pioneer in the women’s work force and our profession that we are proud of today.

Dr. Courtney also brings a fresh look at chiropractic through her experiences as a professional ballet dancer in her younger years. From her training she understands the limits that we can push our bodies to and the benefits of chiropractic care in limiting injuries and supporting exceptional performance.

Dr. Mike’s experiences working in church ministry has given him a passion for people and at desire to see people make steps forward in every aspect in their lives. This whole body approach encompasses the art, philosophy, and science of chiropractic.

Dr. Kelly, we will just say is most likely the smartest person in our office has a background in natural heath that extends beyond chiropractic into the nutritional foundations or healthy living. No mistaking that a good nutritional foundation allows for the most complete healing of our body with the care we provide.

Dr. Baldwin is our resident “done it guy”. In his many years of practice there isn’t much he hasn’t seen or done and that experience along with his love for golf makes him and expert in functional movement and a great asset to our many golfers and golf pros that we see in our office.

Part of what makes us unique is not only our different backgrounds but our commitment to deliver consistent care regardless of provider. All of our chiropractors are certified in instrument IQ adjusting making us the only office in the nation with 4 certified chiropractors working in the same office. This insures that no matter what provider you see the care will be consistent and of the highest quality. This also allows for multiple Dr.’s to oversee your case and contribute in a meaningful way to more complex cases.

Chiropractor Kent WA Garry BaldwinA Lifelong Commitment To Education & Training

“The most valuable and useful tool I have is my education. Over the years I’ve worked hard – strengthening and building on it—until I earned certification from the International Chiropractic Association as a Diplomate in Applied Chiropractic Sciences (DACS). Though I’m proud to be a part of this select group of chiropractic professionals, I’m also grounded in the knowledge that the skills and techniques I’ve learned along the way are what enable me to improve the lives of others.”

“My current goal is to pass on that knowledge to my associates so that they can benefit from my experiences. Experience cannot be summarized from books; it must be gained from practice. My legacy will be evident in my doctors through their ability to render care in the same caring and intelligent manner I do. I trust my associates to maintain the ‘compassionate service with purpose’ that I have strived for many years to achieve.”

The Doctors at Baldwin Chiropractic are Certified

Dr. Baldwin: “As I grew in practice, I realized things about chiropractic I didn’t like. One of them was that the adjusting techniques are not updated as often as they should. Most techniques used by a chiropractor were learned in Chiropractic College, and after they start- ed practice and the technique never changed from that point. I once heard a chiropractor say… “Hey, that adjustment worked 20 years ago, why would I want to change it?” Good point, but… the science has changed, chiropractic has changed, why would you not want to stay current with the newest techniques, updated exams, as well as updated science?”

Well we did. As I added young doctors into my practice, I tried to learn about all the “new stuff” coming out of the colleges. There is quite a bit. I tried to pass on the clinical knowledge I developed over the years to the new doctors. That philosophy of combining the old and the new turns out to offer
the best care to patients.

It became pretty evident, that if we as a group were to keep up with the science of chiropractic, we needed an adjusting technique we could all use, that was reproducible and had a great deal of current scientific research. The answer was easy… we adopted the Neuromechanical Technique and the Impulse iQ.”

We Are Certified:

Any chiropractor can take the seminar required to use the Impulse iQ, but only a small percentage of the chiropractors who take the seminars take the time to get certified by Neuromechanical Innovations. All four of us are certified. That means we are the only doctors in this region currently certified by Neuromechanical Innovations.
